3. The legal grounds we rely on
Under POPIA, we process your information because:
-
it is necessary to carry out a contract with you (delivering a product or service you bought);
-
you have consented (newsletter, waitlist); or
-
we have a legitimate interest in running and improving the site, in a way that does not override your rights.
4. Who we share information with
We share personal information only with the service providers we need to run the business, and only as much as each one needs:
-
Paystack — payment processing
-
Peach Payments / Wix — booking and payment for Clarity Calls, where applicable
-
Our email service provider — newsletter and waitlist emails
-
Our website hosting providers
Some of these providers store information outside South Africa. Where that happens, we rely on providers who apply protections substantially similar to POPIA. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
5. How long do we keep your information
We keep purchase records for as long as we are required to for tax and accounting purposes. We keep newsletter and waitlist details until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove you. We keep service-related information (such as CVs shared for editing) only as long as needed to deliver the service and handle any follow-up, after which it is deleted.
6. Your rights
Under POPIA, you have the right to:
-
ask what personal information we hold about you;
-
ask us to correct or delete it;
-
object to processing, including for direct marketing;

We take reasonable, appropriate steps to protect your information, including using reputable providers, secure (HTTPS) connections, and limiting access to personal information to what is needed to run the business. No system is completely secure, but if we ever become aware of a breach affecting your information, we will notify you and the Information Regulator as POPIA requires.
9. Children
Our products and services are intended for adults and for young people entering the working world. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18 without the consent of a parent or guardian.
