Olaria by Jenn — olariabyjenn.com Last updated: 12 June 2026
Welcome to Olaria by Jenn. These terms govern your use of this website and your purchase of our digital products and services. By using the site, joining the waitlist or newsletter, or making a purchase, you agree to these terms. Please read them, they are written to be readable.
1. Who we are
Olaria by Jenn is owned and operated by Jennifer Nxumalo, a sole proprietor based in Johannesburg, South Africa ("Olaria", "we", "us"). You can contact us at jen@jennifernxumalo.com.
2. What we offer
-
Digital products: guides, templates, and tools on money and careers, sold through our storefront with payment processed by Paystack.
-
Tools: including the Debt Payoff Map.
-
Services: one-on-one Clarity Calls and CV editing services.
-
Email updates: a newsletter and an app waitlist, both opt-in.
These terms work together with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy, and Digital Product Policy, which all form part of the agreement between us.
3. Important: education, not advice
Olaria provides educational information, guides, and tools. Nothing on this site, in our products, or said in a Clarity Call is financial advice, tax advice, investment advice, or legal advice as contemplated in the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act or otherwise. We are not a registered financial services provider. Our content helps you think clearly and build practical systems; decisions about your money, career, and life remain yours. For advice on your specific circumstances, consult a qualified, registered professional.
We also do not guarantee outcomes. No guide, template, or service can promise that you will be shortlisted, hired, promoted, or debt-free by a particular date.
4. Purchases and payment
-
Prices are shown in South African Rand (ZAR) and may change at any time, though changes never affect orders already placed.
-
Payment is processed by third-party payment providers. We do not see or store your card details.
-
A purchase is complete when payment is confirmed, at which point digital delivery begins as described in the Shipping & Delivery Policy.
-
You are responsible for entering a correct email address at checkout.
-
Obvious pricing errors (for example, a guide listed at R1 by mistake) may be corrected, and affected orders cancelled and refunded.
5. Digital products
Digital products are licensed for your personal use as set out in the Digital Product Policy. In short: use them fully for yourself; do not share, redistribute, or resell them. Refunds on digital products are handled as set out in the Refund Policy.
6. Clarity Calls
-
A Clarity Call is a one-hour virtual session. Booking is confirmed once payment is received and a time is agreed.
-
You can reschedule or cancel as set out in the Refund Policy (in short: 24 hours' notice).
-
Sessions are conversations for education and clarity, not regulated financial advice, therapy, or counselling.
-
We treat what you share in a session as confidential, subject to the Privacy Policy and the law.
7. CV editing services
-
Service tiers, inclusions, and the number of revision rounds are as described on the relevant page at the time of purchase.
-
You are responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of the information in your CV. We improve how your experience is presented; we do not verify or invent it.
-
Turnaround times shown are estimates and run from when we have received both payment and all the documents and information we need from you.
-
Completed documents are licensed to you for your own job-seeking use without restriction.
8. Tools, waitlist, and newsletter
Financial tools are provided as-is, with no warranty. The app waitlist is an expression of interest, not a contract joining it does not oblige us to launch the app or you to buy it. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter or waitlist at any time.
9. Intellectual property
All content on this site and in our products text, guides, templates, designs, logos, photography, and the Olaria name belongs to Jennifer Nxumalo unless otherwise indicated, and is protected by South African and international copyright law. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute it without written permission, except as allowed under your product licence.
10. Acceptable use of the site
You agree not to misuse the site including attempting to gain unauthorised access, interfering with its operation, scraping its content, or using it for anything unlawful.
11. Third-party services and links
The site relies on third-party services (Paystack, and email tools) and may link to other websites. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or performance of third parties. Your use of their services is governed by their own terms.
12. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act:
-
the site, free tools, and content are provided "as is" and we do not warrant that they will be uninterrupted or error-free;
-
we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the site, products, or services, including decisions you make based on educational content; and
-
where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for the product or service concerned.
Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, or any rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act.
13. Indemnity
You indemnify us against claims arising from your breach of these terms, including unauthorised distribution of our products.
14. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in line with our Privacy Policy and POPIA.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on the site at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to that purchase. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
16. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. If something goes wrong, please email us first most issues are resolved with a straightforward conversation. Failing that, disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the South African courts. Nothing here prevents you from approaching the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud, the National Consumer Commission, or the Information Regulator where applicable.
17. General
If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. A failure to enforce a term is not a waiver of it.
